so i was in the city doing evangelism with the birth attendant school. basically we stand out where there are lots of people and do some worship and then speak out our personal testimony. people come and watch on the edges of the circle and we talk to those people on a one on one basis. i talked to 4 different people about my own story and what God has rescued me from and where i am at now.

one guy was needing encouragement and prayer, another guy didnt want to hear about anything i said and flipped me off which i thought was funny but sad, another guy named Peter was a Christian but needed some prayer and encouragement and just someone to talk to, so we talked and prayed.

the last guy was my friend Josh who i havent seen in awhile. He is a Christian who came over from the East Coast of Australia and felt to come over to Perth with his friend and to live on the streets and witness and pray for miracles for those that are homeless and broken. they have been doing that for awhile now and not living on much, if anything at all. i greeted him and he told me he stopped into the city to get a package from his mom. he then asked me why i had shaved my head... i told him that i wasnt seeing much financial breakthrough and was asking God what He wanted me to do and i strongly knew he was asking me to shave my head.. so i did!

without any hesitation he handed me the money that was in his hand which was $50 dollars. i started to cry .....and cry ...and cry even more.. because... i knew that he had no money.. i knew that he came into the city to get a package from his mom and that money was for him.. i knew that he gave me all he had.

he looked at me with an overflowing joy and happiness in his eyes. he was Jesus to me in that moment.

my reality

hello family and friends!

well, wanted to update with you with where i am at. and also a few prayers...

(i am not asking for money, although it would help me to go and help deliver babies in these developing countries, but making my needs known to you as the church so you can keep me in your prayers and let you know my reality)

-i still need $3300 by friday (which pays for living expenses and food until June) to be able to go to Tanzania. If it doesn't come in by friday, then my plane ticket will be moved to a later date.

-need $60 for malaria medication so i don't die in africa ;)

-need $500 for health insurance this next year.

i was blessed this past year by Jamul Community Church and the monthly giving they were able to support me with! incredibly blessed! thankyou so much for those that have prayed and those that have given! this is the last amount i will need. if this overwhelms you, can you please pray for me for like 5 seconds. thats really all i want. a 5 second prayer. :)

i hope to post a video soon.

main subject- leaving in a week and how i will be getting there . with the grace of God . what God is going to do is impossible in the eyes of man. luckily He is a God that overcomes the impossible.

no pants.

i learned recently that i will be wearing a skirt for 8 months. came as a bit of a surprise to me when i found this out and it will be a bit of a shock when i come back after outreach wearing jeans again.. at the same time i am excited to dive into the culture and wear skirts for a long long long time :)

these are the amounts we still need to get in.. the ones with the hashmarks are the people that have all their money in! praise Jesus!

i only need $3300 !! i have received $7000!!

oh ya!

i saw a placenta today for the first time. it was really gross and smaller than i thought but really cool to see all the parts of it and what it actually really looks like. we also learned rescucitation!

today i was incredibly blessed with one person that just finished his dts give me $200 and then another sponsor from home gave me $450!!

this week..

hey! this week was a great week so far!
we had needed lots and lots of money and we saw many people get their full amount of $4000 for ground fees come in this week! its been so awesome to see testimony after testimony of people wanting to give to us as a team.

ill quickly share one testimony. one girl on my school, Amy, has a cousin back home who heard of our need for ground fees to go on outreach and wanted to give her tithe. she gave her full tithe of $900 but Amy already had all of her money in so her cousin wanted to give it to someone who still needed money. so Naomi, another girl on my school who needed money was given $900 from someone she didnt even know. soo good! i love hearing these stories and could share so many.

i still have a need of $4000. thankyou for those that gave the past few weeks. it has been amazing to see friends and family wanting to give. if you would like to be apart of this, there is the info on how to give on the sidebar.

Prayer Requests..

*my computer died. it is the easiest way for me to store information (pictures, reports, making movies, journaling, skype etc.) as i travel and communicate with people around the world. praying for provision in this area of need.

*i still need $4000 by friday.

this week...

i am learning lots through this whole process of not having money, and needing thousands of dollars in a small amount of time. i still can't believe that $7000 all came in, in just a few weeks. that was a freaking miracle and testimony of God's faithfulness and reconfirmation for me to go to Tanzania and Bangladesh to pray, and stand in the gap for these women and babies we will be able to be with and minister to. especially in places where the majority is Muslims.

i also cant wait to write the testimonies on here of what will happen on outreach.

the first wave of $3900 came in
the second wave of $2890 came in
waiting and praying and working at getting the need out for the 3rd wave of $4000 to come in.

the first paid for lecture phase, the second paid for the plane ticket to tanzania and bangladesh, and the third will pay for accomodations and food etc. for the next 8 months.

this week learning about care of mother and child after the baby is delivered. quite fun! as is every week!
