answered prayer and needs!

i praise God that He is answering prayers and that i still have needs because i know being in a place of need is where we grow the most.

my request that i posted a few days ago!
need--i need to be out of the place im staying in at the moment by Christmas. i know God has something lined up.. just not sure yet!
answered-i found a place to stay and will be leaving the place i am in at the moment on Friday! praise the Lord. i will be staying on a friends couch for the next couple weeks.. but have somewhere to be on Christmas which is so exciting!

$100 will buy me warm shoes to do night ministry in
$50 will pay for ministry costs (tea&coffee for girls, supplies.. etc.)

blessings this Christmas to all! God wants to break the injustice .. partner with those that are doing something or do something yourself to wear it gets uncomfortable.. that's when God pours out blessings.. and more blessings.. He will bring more and more!

im excited to see what He is going to do here in this place! hallelujah.

just tearing down porn

i had a blissful night of prayer walking on sketch alley.. literally.. we walked past a fight.. prostitutes.. and it has a reputation for being the place where if people had a choice, they wouldn't be living there. it was great! the area we were in is called South hall which is 2 hours west of where i am located at the moment on public transport.

i was working with Katherine who is just starting to go out on the streets after 6 months of gathering information on the area. the wealth of information she has gathered is grand. she has collected info. from being apart of the night shelter.. listening to the homeless tell her about what goes on there and teaching English to the Muslim women who tell her all about their rigid, controlling, forced marriages where women can easily be abused.. we knew what was up in the place and were finally able to take it to the streets.. walk around.. map it out.. prayer walk.. and who knows what else will unfold in the upcoming weeks. excited to see. will be going again monday and wednesday night!

the next day i had some time to kill at Paddington station, so i decided to walk around the area.. as i was doing so i was feeling discouraged and was heavily burdened by the need in the city and letting it get to me because the need is so great. i saw an old woman sitting near a bus stop and she seemed extremely poor. i asked if she was alright and if she needed any help, but she didn't speak a word of English and soon found out she was from Warsawa.. which i understood quite clearly through her accent was Poland. she kept gesturing to me that she needed water and i pulled out a water bottle from my pocket that i had.. she was soo thankful and grateful. i asked if i could pray with her and she said yes.. even though she wouldn't understand anything i said.. i prayed a blessing over her and after i was done she was so grateful.. and kept pointing and touching my scarf and pointing to her head.. uh oh,, now its getting uncomfortable.. she wants my scarf.. my scarf from Bangladesh.. my precious scarf that has such a rich green colour and i knew exactly why she was drawn to it, bc its beautiful green that you can only find in countries that appreciate rich colours. The Lord told me to give it to her.. so i did.. and she was sooo thankful and kissed my hand..

after i walked away from her, i felt the heaviness i was feeling lift off of me and God was telling me through that to not take on the negative spirit in the city.. and God's spirit washed over me.. His gentleness and kindness and sweet spirit. i was walking back to the station when i passed a phone booth that had porn all over the inside with phone numbers attached to get their services.. i stopped in my tracks, turned around opened the phone booth door and ripped off all the cards that lined the booth.. i went into 2 other phone booths and did the same thing.. i chucked them all in the trash.. and left that station feeling victorious.. that the inner battle i was facing.. i looked at it straight in the face and said get out of my way.. God has work to do in this place through me and im not gonna back down.. ha!

if you could keep me in your prayers.. that would be grand!

prayers and needs-
-i need to be out of the place im staying in at the moment by Christmas. i know God has something lined up.. just not sure yet!
-monthly financial support-
$10 will pay for cards to send to family and supporters
$40 will pay for my weekly groceries

if you feel led to fuel this ministry financially, that would be encouraging to have you be apart of what He is doing here in London! the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few! the workers need your help! jus sayin ;)

blessings.. blessings.. blessings.. to God be the glory forever and ever

what have i been up to? :)

here's just a few things!!

-peeling back the layers of injustice and trying to understand what is going on behind the scenes.
-working with a lady in east london who reaches out to prostitutes and is just starting her ministry, coming alongside her and encouraging, praying and going out with her at night to find brothels and working girls.
-meeting with different organizations and groups that work in the area of reaching out to people that deal with this area of injustice.
-working with another girl who is doing ministry with teenage girls who have been raped.
-because i can't do this without spending time listening and hearing from God and where He is leading me, i spend lots of time in prayer with the 24/7 burn prayer group. its been so good to be apart of bringing God's presence to London through worship and prayer.
-going out to the streets in places like Soho (red light district) and handing out coffee and tea to peeps and starting up conversations.
-i have been to numerous churches that have a heart to see God worshiped and glorified in the city.

i know it's God's heart to see these girls reached out to and to have someone that they can trust to talk to. my focus at the moment is to work with trafficked victims and prostitutes. from what i am beginning to understand about the two issues is that they are intertwined, where you find one.. you will find the other\\

PRAYER REQUESTS-
-that i would find a local church that i can invest in and work with to take teams out with me to do ministry with.
-still finding my grounding.. i feel like i am going around and around a round-a-bout and am looking for a focus and a direction to lead me to where exactly and who exactly i need to be working with. i can't continue working with different groups that are a 2 hour journey apart from each other.. needing an area GOd wants me to work in.
-i am moving out of the place i am in at the moment at the end of the month and need to find a new place to live. please pray for my accomodation.
-finances. needing consistent givers for transportation, food and living costs. needing $800 a month at the moment.

PRAISES-
-i am so grateful for the people that continue to give. so happy that i everyday there is enough to buy the transportation and food that i need.
-the place that i am staying at the moment is free of rent! so amazing for them to let me stay with them for free. i am helping out around the place, but they have been incredibly hospitable to me and have welcomed me in with open arms! so blessed!

Sex mobs target Egypt's women

’Men don’t have to worry about being caught’: Sex mobs target Egypt’s women

i saw this in the news today.. women can't walk down the street in Egypt for fear of being sexually aussalted.. this is unjust in so many ways and my anger can only be filtered through praying for justice to come to Egypt.

i remember when i was in Bangladesh a little less than 2 years ago. it is mostly Muslim and even though we were white, we had extreme limitations with how we dressed and acted in public. mostly because of how the men reacted to us. when we were out in the village, we had to stay inside the gates for protection.. not because we were white, but because we were women. i will never forget one of the days i was sitting inside.. some of the girls were cooking food.. and i was peering through the cracks in the brick outside at all of the boys playing soccer wishing i was able to play as well... and thought... wow.. i will leave this place and these girls will still be here.. trapped inside for their own 'safety' .. it angers me because i know what it feels like.. it angers me because its not okay for any person to be treated this way just because of their gender.

please keep Egypt in your prayers in this season of torment and corruption.

svaty mikulas-st. nicholas

happy Svaty Mikulas day!.. he saved 3 girls from the life of prostitution. encouraged as that is my focus here in London at the moment. here is a little more about him...honoring the Saints and the testimonies of their lives that were spent sacrificing, serving and loving God and others.

"Saint Nicholas (or Svätý Mikuláš in Slovak) was a pilgrim and later a bishop and a saint born in the year 270AD in the town of Myra, in the present-day Turkey. He became famous for his extended generosity, secret gift-giving and performing miracles for the poor and the unlucky. As such, he became the patron of humanitarian brotherhoods, sailors, unmarried women, tradesmen, students and so on. He is also the patron saint of Russia and Greece. Saint Nicholas Day celebrates the life of this philanthropist, who passed away on December 6th, 346AD.

Among his most famous good deeds was saving three girls from the life of prostitution. According to the legend, their dad, a poor man, could not afford the dowry. Since he didn’t want his daughters to remain unmarried, he forced them to work this way to earn some money. When St. Nicholas learned of this misgiving, he started throwing sacks of gold coins through the girls’ windows. After three days (or three years, depending on the source), the father realized the error of his ways (or had enough money saved up). There are many variations of this story. In some, St. Nicholas tosses the coins down the chimney. In others, the coins land in one of the girl’s stockings, which she left out to dry.

Does this sound bit like the story of the American Santa Claus? Well, it ought to! See, the Dutch name for St. Nicholas is Sinterklaas, which had morphed into Santa Claus. Santa even looks very much like St. Nick. The difference is that St. Nicholas is wears a bishop’s hat (rd to match his coat) and holds a long bishop stick capped with a spiral."
